Originally from Cuba, Castroverde started taking pictures

His three kids all played high school sports, and he began
shooting their basketball, volleyball and soccer games. His interest
grew when he attended an annual photography festival in St.
Northern Cardinal
Augustine, where he met a fellow Cuban photographer who
introduced him to wildlife photography.
Since then, Castroverde has traveled the world with his
Canon, and he’s fallen in love with the art of taking pictures.
Whether exploring an out-of-the-way landscape or experimenting
with the perfect lighting and composition to capture an eagle in
midair, he loves the “constant learning” his hobby provides — and
appreciates the inherent challenges posed by unpredictable
subjects and weather.
